The holidays are a time of family, friends, and unexpected moments. Make sure you're ready to capture all the memories with your camera - whether it's your phone or your Canon.

First, clear your phone's camera roll or your camera's memory card. Make sure you have enough space so that you won't be forced to delete images while trying to catch beautiful emotions and expressions that can't be posed or re-taken. Also, make sure your phone and camera batteries are fully charged at all times! I recently purchased a portable charger so I have that extra energy source when I'm traveling or on the go.

Finally, PRINT the images that you want to preserve. Prints last for generations. Your digital images will only last as long as technology or until you lose that memory card.
