We all learn from our own mistakes and I'm no exception. I teach a workshop several times each year about archiving photos and clearing off your camera cards and phones so you won't miss those magical moments. Well, on Sunday I almost missed one! We were in attendance at the amazing performance of The Nutcracker presented by the Callanwolde Dance Ensemble. Both my girls have good friends and classmates who perform some of the lead roles. I was trying to get a photo of my daughter with the Sugar Plum Fairy - both students at Holy Spirit Prep. Then the worst happened! I went to take the photo with my phone and I was faced with the message that there was not enough space on my camera to take the photo. Not good! So, I scrambled and deleted a bunch of photos so I could get this one. I immediately went home and backed up all my phone photos to my computer and deleted them from my phone so it won't happen again. I will now practice what I preach - download, save, backup, delete from phone!!
Here are some of the most important photos I was able to take after I scrambled. They are all phone photos and although they may never be wall portraits, they will be some of our sweetest memories.
Have you cleared off you camera cards and phones so that you're ready for the holidays?
