2016 Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Remembrance Walk
Since 2009, I've been an active volunteer with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS) whose mission is to introduce remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with a free gift of professional portraiture.
The NILMDTS Remembrance Walk provides outreach and healing through the community, providing families with resources relating to infant loss and brings families together to love, honor, and remember their infant. This is the first year that NILMDTS has hosted the Remembrance Walk outside of Colorado and I'm honored to be the Walk Coordinator for this first year event.
The NILMDTS Remembrance Walk, "Our Journey Together", is for parents, family members, and friends to come together to remember a precious baby who has died due to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, neonatal or any type of pregnancy or infant loss.
The registration fee ensures future support to families who will sadly walk in these same shoes. Last year, the money raised at the Colorado Walk made it possible for NILMDTS to serve over 400 families. All proceeds go directly into the operation of this organization to help parents who are experiencing an early infant loss.
In order to have your babies name printed on the t-shirt you must enter no later than September 19!
