Every year in January (this year into February), I attend Imaging USA. This incredible photography conference is attended by over 10,000 photographers from around the world. To say I learn so much that my head is spinning is an understatement! I'm looking forward to implementing new ideas and sharing all this creative knowledge with you!
I sat in sessions to learn from some of my favorite photographers, went to see new photographers speak, spent hours in the Expo trying not to be overwhelmed by all the incredible products available, walked through the International Photographic Competition display which featured the work of many talented photographers - including my merited print "Eugenie" - and also attended the biggest Super Bowl party ever (the main ballroom and several other enormous rooms which featured at least 5 jumbo screens for viewing).
Here are a few photos of my experience this year at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville:
There were beautiful fountains!
One of my all-time favorite photographers, Sandy Puc. I've learned so much from her over the years. She's also the co-founder of NILMDTS.
Millers Lab provides me the most amazing albums that are available to you when we complete your session!
Fun ideas and thoughts from fellow photographers.
THE Super Bowl Party!
I walked through Delta Island several times each day coming and going to the Convention Center. Living under the bubble for 3 days.
One afternoon I volunteered in the NILMDTS booth at the Expo.
My merited image "Eugenie" on the digital viewing screen!
Shoot To Share. Print To Preserve. My "Ready, Set, Archive!" workshop is coming soon!
